10.14.2009 – ERDAS Announces Business Partnership with Observera.
ERDAS and Observera announce a new partnership to develop an integrated solution based on ERDAS APOLLO technology. Observera is integrating the Sensor Model-based Automatic Registration Tool (SMART) registration engine into ERDAS APOLLO, providing another option for delivering registered image products. This solution will augment ERDAS APOLLO'S data provisioning and processing workflow and provide an end-to-end solution for customers that require detailed registration of images.

09.25.2009 – Observera to present its LIDAR Vertical Obstruction (VO) Evaluation results at the upcoming ASPRS/MAPPS Fall Conference.
Observera will be presenting a paper at the ASPRS/MAPPS 2009 Specialty Conference in San Antonio, TX on November 16, 2009. The paper, titled “Automated Extraction of Vertical Obstructions from LIDAR data”, will be presented at the conferences Emergency Response/Public Safety Applications track.

06.05.2009 – Applications of Commercial Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) Workshop a great success.
Today’s Workshop hosted at the Oracle Conference Center in Reston, Virginia , was filled to capacity with government representatives and SAR industry stakeholders. The Workshop, sponsored by Observera, Inc. in conjunction with the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF), contained a great deal of information and discussion on the current state of SAR technology. Applications of the technology for the defense, intelligence, and homeland security communities were covered as well as a distinguished panel-style discussion that closed out the day.
