Using Continuum™

Each Continuum™ Geotimeline contains events that can have spatial and temporal coordinates, along with text, images and hyperlinks.  Geotimelines are displayed simultaneously in a Timeline View, a Geospatial View, and a Word Cloud View.

Once in Continuum™, events can be queried and filtered by date/time, geo-coordinates, keywords, and more. Integrate several Geotimelines into one, or filter and create new specialized Geotimelines from events that are already stored.  You can even update and edit timelines interactively.

When displayed, intuitive controls allow filtering and highlighting events. Events highlight in the Geospatial View or Timeline View when the cursor is rolled over the corresponding event in the other view. Clicking on a word in the Word Cloud View highlights all events containing that word. Use playback controls to animate the temporal dimension, with events highlighted in the Geospatial View as they pass through the Timeline View.

Continuum™ is great for performing analysis, as well as presenting your results to others. Embed hyperlinks to your Geotimeline into multimedia briefings, web pages and wikis, or snapshot the data for integration into static briefings and printed reports.
